PM Job Opportunity: Program & Advocacy Manager
Preservation Massachusetts is actively seeking a Program and Advocacy Manager to join our statewide organization. This full-time position (40 hours per week) will oversee current programs and advocacy initiatives while working to increase their impact, availability, and relevance to constituents across Massachusetts. The Program and Advocacy Manager reports directly to the Executive Director and will work collaboratively with current staff, consultants, and our Board of Directors and partner organizations across the state and region.
Preservation Massachusetts seeks an open, engaging, collaborative, and creative professional to join our team as Program and Advocacy Manager. The ideal candidate for this position will have a background in either historic preservation/history/architecture and experience with non-profit or cultural organizations, advocacy, community engagement, etc. This position will support the Executive Director and will independently lead efforts to implement existing programs, while looking for ways to improve and expand their relevance and impact. Candidates should be able to work effectively in both independent and collaborative environments, be a self starter, and able to deliver on sometimes short deadlines. The nature of this position also involves working with the general public and local advocates in a variety of situations.
