Most Endangered Program is Back!
Preservation Massachusetts’ Most Endangered Historic Resources Program is back for 2022! Since 1993, the Most Endangered Historic Resources (MER) List has been one of the first steps in focusing statewide attention on endangered historic resources and serving as a catalyst for preservation opportunities across the Commonwealth. The theme of the 2022 MER Program is "Planning for Community," and we're interested in spotlighting resources that are not only historically significant, but also emphasize continued importance and possibility to their communities.
The 2022 MER Nomination Portal is now available on our website! To submit a nomination application for the 2022 MER List, please visit the "Most Endangered Resource Program" page (https://www.preservationmass.org/mer) and click on the link for the MER Nomination Application Portal. Be sure to also check out the 2022 MER Application Prep Sheet, which includes helpful information about the MER program, the application process, and submission instructions. Nominations to the 2022 MER List will be accepted until August 31, 2022.
