Announcing Our 2023 Grant Recipients!

Preservation Massachusetts, in partnership with The 1772 Foundation, is excited to announce the recipients of their historic preservation matching grant program for Massachusetts. A total of $125,000 was awarded to sixteen nonprofit organizations, in amounts ranging from $745 to $10,000. These grants leverage over $414,000 in total project costs.

Now in it's fourth year, this collaborative grant partnership demonstrates the impact that even small dollars can make on preservation projects. From Cape Cod to the Berkshires, this years grant recipients are undertaking work that ensures their historic buildings will remain for future generations. Since 2020, $450,000 has been granted to projects in Massachusetts. We are grateful to The 1772 Foundation for their generous financial support.
