Good News Ahead: 2020 MA Historic Preservation Grant Recipients Announced
In September, Preservation Massachusetts was thrilled to announce a new grant opportunity, in collaboration with The 1772 Foundation. The Foundation made 1:1 matching grants of up to $10,000 for non-profits and projects on historic building exteriors. Throughout the fall and winter, Preservation Massachusetts administered the grant program, making final recommendations to The 1772 Foundation in early April, 2020. The Trustees approved grants for 14 projects, totaling $100,000 in funding. Preservation Massachusetts is grateful to The 1772 Foundation for their generosity and support of preservation projects in Massachusetts. We are also thankful for the opportunity to collaborate with them on an important program, which we hope will return next year.
