Making the Case: Windows in Worcester

On Tuesday, May 22, PM co-sponsored a great presentation at Worcester City Hall about historic windows! Along with Preservation Worcester and the City of Worcester, the two hour presentation featured experts detailing what goes into a window restoration (include a full window set up display), how window restoration can create jobs and opportunities and a real world case study with the Whatley Town Hall renovation project.

If you didn't make it, don't worry. We have put together some brief highlights below and also hope to have a link to the full, 2 hour presentation recorded by the City of Worcester soon!

Be sure to check out our resource page on windows, and be sure to sign up for our e-newsletter so you can be notified of our next educational presentation!

Many thanks to our local hosts: Preservation Worcester, the City of Worcester and our presenters: Jade Mortimer (Heartwood Window Restoration), Pam Howland (Old Window Workshop Collaborative) and George Dole (Jones Whitsett Architects).
